Hello, I am Roman Jiganchine. Welcome to my CHESS page!

WHAT IS NEW:                               March 16, 2001:

  1. Lessons are updated again. More detailed information on how I teach.

  2. This page now has a faster version! I now moved to a new server, but decided to leave the old page. Faster downloads, no more broken thumbnails for pictures.

February 24, 2001:

  1. Canadian database download fixed (hopefully). It should be relatively fast and smooth now.

  2. Lessons section is updated with several links to excellent resources on the net.

February 18, 2001 :

  1. Over 17,000 Canadian games added: checkout the download section

  2. New game added in the annotations section. Now you can view it with a Java script!

January 27 ,2001 :

  1. New Site Design, please tell me what you think about it

  2. I have added MORE pictures from Oropesa, including weather disasters as promised!

  3. Russian part of the site is now working, it contains some more annotated games and links.

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I am 18 years old. This October I participated in the World Youth Chess Festival in Spain. I played in the "under 18" section. On this site I am going to annotate the games that I played in this event. Here you can read a brief explanation of why I have done it and how. Click here to download all the games that I have put here. The file is in *.cbv format.

I would be happy to hear Your comments about this page, as well as what You think about the games and analysis.
